One LoBe
wander Digital LoBe, without the noise.
waves late to surf, but just in time.
world One LoBe, 34 countries.
nurse, traveller, waver, raver.

If you're here, you've probably been wondering where I've been.

My life is split between family, nursing, and the road. In my 40s, I've been wandering through 34 countries. I re-discovered the LoBe for surfing late in life, not to be a pro, but just in time to be happier. So nowadays, travel and surfing just go together like wax on a board. I love roads less travelled, low seasons, and empty places. I take photos to hold onto moments, not to influence anyone, just because I love colour and I think the world is too big and beautiful not to share.

This isn't a feed or a travel blog, so you won't find descriptions. I like to keep places as I found them, so you might not even know where a photo was taken unless you've been there yourself.

One LoBe started as a photography blog more than 10 years ago and has evolved into an independent platform, now part of the World Wide Web dot Com. That idea inspired my own WWW: a life of Wandering the World and its Waves. A space where you don't have to follow, like or comment. Just an open window to the places I've discovered.

Don't drop in on waves but feel free to drop in a message.

Peace
V.
